Ueber Ho O’Mau
Actor Jimmy Stewart formerly owned the Ho O’mau 1,570 acre Ranch
in Kona, Hawaii. Guy Cobb was the highest bidder at the absolute
auction for $7.4M. The seller was Dr. Thomas Atwood. Jimmy Stewart
had honey mooned in Hawaii and later purchased the ranch where he
spent much of his time while in Hawaii. The ranch includes Macadamia
Orchards and such rare trees as Ohia, Sandalwood, Koa, ancient
Japanese Sugi Pines and 100-foot Loulu Palms.

Dr. Thomas Atwood – Seller
Actor Jimmy Stewart formerly owned Ho’Omau Ranch in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii
What are the odds that I’d be in Hawaii before Christmas when the world is playing my favorite movie, Jimmy Stewart’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” while riding a Harley-Davidson and driving a Lincoln Town Car for 11 days while auctioning his Ho Omau Ranch in Kona. For good measure I bought a copy of his movie with me to the resort hotel.
